Good work. I've been without TV for some many years that I've lost the count, but occasionally I watch it at my friends place if there something worthwhile watching on.

But yeah, TV is one of the main stupifiers/pacifiers in the machine's arsenal to keep people obidient, apathetic, good conforming consumerwhores.

Keep on fighting!

If you've not awere of this site go and check it out. [link]

I've got to admit that I'm reguarly in front of my tv, but only because Fifa WC is currently running ^^ but I saw most games in front of huge sized screen on a "public view point", much more funny to celebrate with 300 other maniacs ;p

and you're damn right, tv is a wepon! it's the most used "information source" at least in most parts of the world (beneath print and np's) so it's only logic some people want to tell many people what to buy, how to think, what to elect and how to act....(and on and on and on...) tragic reality, if tv would show only neutral and objective news, good movies and docus and no commercials..damn, what could I say against it. but switch on tv and finding the opposite made me realize..

however thanks a lot for your comment, really appreciate it. =D

btw. didn't knew anything about babyfirst tv yet, damn that' wicked @_@

I watched the world cup from many public tv's/large screens across the europe when it was on now and I too sometimes watch it just to remind me of the propaganda machine that it is. The again by saying this it's not all that bad if one is consciouss about what he/she watches and can filter all the shit that's being borbarded from the media in general (this applies to the radio broadcasts, mainstream newspapers, yellow papers and billboard adds etc.). But in the modern day society TV plays the main part of the circus (&bread) to the people, it is just a sick sad fact. People, wage slaves, come to their dwellings tired after a grueling day at a work and tun on the tv and turn of their brains and just suck in everything that fed to them and rot away.....ok that was quite nihilistic, but there a hint of the truth in that too....

......yeah the being brought up by TVs from the cradle, can that amount to anything else than massive rises in ADHD cases (combined with the shit processed chemical food etc.....).............

Oh did you check out the keychain in WhiteDot? The one that turns off every televios in certain radius?......I have to get me one of those and walk around big cities turning off every telly in the shops and windows etc etc.......should be good fun.

hm, quite correct what you wrote if you'd ask me. allthough I'm still hoping that a not-addicted individual, that grew up with his own thoughts (not with babytv ^^) can decide what's crap and what's usefull. I won't define "usefull" now, becuase it's up to everyone himself to decide that. I only know that it's senseless for me to turn on tv, besides I'm still happy without any tv. I only need my pc for DA =D

no, jokes a side, mass media is controled and most people know that (aware or automatic). sad is that so man people let mass media control or affect themselves allthough they know it.. however, I think we know what I'm talking about. nice to see that my tiny pice of crappy art can effect such a thought-exchange ;P
Best wishes

He also warns for overdoses. One of the symptoms is square eyes.
RanTanTan Featured By Owner Jun 16, 2006
